 Thank you for updating the schedule lists.

It will be very appreciated to know more about Sally's school life whose schedule has been changed  drastically. As far as I know her class is combined with the other Caterpillar class.

I am sure it doesn't matter with her because she has a wonderful teacher like you.

By the way I heard that Sally has a weakpoint in reading English. But I don't think it is a big problem because we have not paid more attention in teaching her how to read. Instead we have tried to expose her to English situations such as reading children's books and movies in English. She has enjoyed them a lot without any stress. So it is so natural that she has not learned how to read and there is some gap between speaking and writing. I don't mean that how to read is not important.^^

How is going with the subjects such as math and language arts?

They seem to be very difficult to deal with in the combined class.

By the way I know you have much more responsibility in teaching the students with different levels at a class even without the help of Christina.

Christina also gave me Sally's situation with regards to the mentioned gap.

It will be very nice if you have chance to motivate Sally to have more atttention to learning how to read as well as speaking and enjoying study English and playing with her friends and especially with you.^^

 It's getting colder and colder. How are you doing? ^^

I'm happy to hear that you liked the red-ripe persimmon.

I am also surprised when Sally told me it was the first time for you to taste it.

According to her, It tastes like pumpkin to you. and it is strange to me. Does it taste like that? And Is it true that you bought a basket of them?  ^^

I think red-ripe persimmon is a very good fruit since it not only tastes very sweet like honey, but also is easy to eat( we don't need a knife^^ ). Furthermore it is rich in various vitamins. Sally loves it so much!! ^^

Sally feels sorry that you will not be able to make your family's home-coming day.

Sally said to me, "Mom,! Miss corinna's family members will have a special dinner all together. but she can't go to America to participate in the dinner party with them because she has to stay with us to teach us English. Though I'm happy for her to be with us during the holidays in the end the year,  I am also sorry for her becuase she and her family are missing one another."

So she asked me whether it is possible to invite you to our dinner.

That's why she draw a picture for you and gave it to you on the other day.^^

She wanted to make you happy and not feel lonely. She was very happy to get a picture from you too.^^ : about five senses.  And she posted it on the wall. Thank you for it too.

We enjoy it altogether!

Thesedays, Sally keep pestering me to buy the book "Chicken Little."

She already has one book with the same title "Chicken Little." But it is slightly different from it.  Could you please let me know the writer's name or publisher's name of the book which you are using for the play?

By the way,  I heard that her role is Turkey lurkey.  Oh... I hope she will strong enough to play the role in front of many people as you know she is very shy..^^;;

In addition do you remember the book "100 Bible Heros" which you wanted to borrow from her but she didn't borrow it to you.  She was worried too much to share anything important with others..^^  But  I wanted Sally to be able to share things like the book with her friends including you. But she worried that she might lose it. ^^

By the way, What do you think about my comments on the science class?

Just in case, I will translate it to you as followings:

Sally is getting more interested in the science class becasue she brings a new thing home once a week. And she tried to show me what it is by decoposing it and reassemble it to me. It is wonderful to see what she has done.  This is what parents want to see from their children. I also try to help her not to lose interest and to increase the interest in science by reading related science books. And so I really appreciate your efforts for the classs on the behalf of other families.

In my opinion, the most exciting things to me was the class on the Space which was given to her last Winter. Because it was fantastic to see new planet added on the ceiling with different size and colors, which made the room a Space and there was a big spaceship which was made by the whole students. I think this can teach the students  how to cooperate with other students regardless of grades. and this is also the strong point of ANCA with good and creative teachers like you.^^

Thank you for your quick and general answer.^^

As soon as she came back home, she told me that she was very surprised and shy when you knew that Sally had told her mother about the song.^^

Did you tell her (Sally) what I mentioned in this website in her class?^^

I think it is also wonderful to make children know that parents and the teachers are sharing what have been tought and happend to them. but she seemed to be very happy to hear the fact that you knew what Sally told me. So I told her I had written the letter to you then she said " Plz, don't do that!! I can't help being shy, you know !! "  I'm sure that you know about Sally's characteristics ^^;;



You know! It took her over four hours to pack the 'show and tell bag' for the homework, She is a perfectionist,^^ I am not sure this is good or not but it is good to see her considerate and concentrative what she is supposed to do.And I want to encourage her to help her get more confidence in whatever she do.^^

One sad thing is the fact she felt that you don't like Sally because you have not hugged her enough. So I explained that Sally is wrong and Coreana loves you so much like the other students. Thus you don't have to worry about being loved by your teacher Corinna.^^ I hope that I am right.^^  Please hug Sally enough to make her feel loved by you.^^ I know you have done so. ^^ 

Do you know the reason why Sally includes the 100 bible heros in the bag?

Because she wants to make you feel happy with this.

When you find the book ask why and let me know what she talks about. ^^

I have a suggestion concerning the uploading photoes and documents, you have done this work in your personal pages. And then they appear at a time at the button, which is not comfortable and efficient. So I found the solution (I hope) to this: Please upload them in the "Anca preschool" group section which is in the mainpage. Then we can see them separately according to the order of uploading, which is more convenient.^^ Please give it a try. Let's see the result.

Dear Miss Corinna,

This is Sally's mom. Firts of all, thank you for the beautiful pictures of the children. ^^

I am so happy to see them having a wonderful time on this picnic, 

I also appreciate your updating the daily schedule of Sally's class, which is very helpful and useful. Furthermore it can show us what they are going to learn and what I can do for my child at home. I think that children should be taken care of not only at school but also at home. So don't hesite to tell me what we can help you help the students as well as my daughter Sally.I also try to help my child to recall what she learned and teach her other materials such as stories, music and movies.^^

And it also wonderful to be able to communicate with the homeroom teacher about the class and school life on this homepage, which should have done before.

Before going to bed, sally sang a new song - "five litte pumpkins" . And I could find the script of the song and I was able to sing the song together.^^

Sally thinks this song is very funny and according to her you told her that this was  your favoriate song when you were a child as Sally. She wants to teach this song to me and her younger sister becasue of you. To do so she made me repeat the song after her several times^^; She also began to changed  the letters of the song with the same melody. It's so impressive to see her be able to understand the constructions in the song which is the basic and fundamental method of learning a language.

By the way, you look so tired these days. So don't work too hard .
