I graduated from Concordia University, in Montreal, Quebec, in 1977, with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology.
In 1980, I graduated with a Bachelor of Theology Degree, from Mc Gill University, also, in Montreal, Quebec.
In 1995, I graduated from Canisius College, in Buffalo, New York, with a Master in the Science of Education.
While I was working towards my first undergraduate degree, I studied Pipe Organ, for five years, under Mr. Phillips Motley, a well-known and I highly regarded organist in Montreal. His strength and enjoyment was in choral direction.
While studying, to obtain my Bachelor of Arts Degree, I also worked for four of those seven years as a supply teacher.
The years following my graduation in Theology, I worked in rural Pastoral Charges fulfilling the responsibilities and duties as fulltime ministry, in several Pastoral Charges, within Canada, for five years.
I also volunteered in a school in Hamilton, Ontario, for four b years, before making my final decision to come to teach English in Korea. I have really come to enjoy the friendships that I have formed with both my English-speaking colleages and my Korean co-workers and Korean students.
I enjoy reading poetry particularly the Odes by the English poet, John Keats, of the Romanitic Period; poems by John Donne; and poems like "The Road Not Taken" and "The Creamation of Sam McGee".
Hey Bryan,
This is the preaching schedule:
8/10 - you
8/17 - me
8/24 - Bob
8/31 - Krissy
I hope this clears things up a bit more. Joseph will always be preaching on the first Sunday of the month, and the others will be rotated around.
Dear Yoon:
I had just got a call from Pastor Joseph, this morning, Saturday, August 2nd, that you had scheduled me to preach this Sunday, August 3rd.
I had mentioned to you and then Pastor Joseph that I would be interested in giving the message, before I was able to add my name to ANCA website. After, I was able to become a member of the ANCA website family, I still did not receive any message from you. It was not until I spoke to you the following Sunday, in person, that you informed me, that the schedule had been completed until the end of August.
Because I knew that the preaching schedule was in place and that teachers would be taking weekend breaks and brief holidays, I did not visit the ANCA website. Instead, I focused on the preparation of my lessons and the materials for those lessons.
Because of the change you encountered, when you did not hear from me, in a few days after sending me the e-mail, you should have called me get a direct confirmation. This you have taken two minutes of your time, at which time, you would have been able to know for certain, if I was able to or if I plans had changed, since we last spoke. By the way, I would have been able to give the message, had I known. If you were unable to obtain my cellular number through the website, Pastor Joseph and Grace, have it. It would have assumed that, you would have been speaking to Pastor Joseph, when you did not get a response from me, but, I now can see that this conversation did not occur.
As a result, I did receive a call from Pastor Joseph this morning, who was expecting me to preach the message. I was very embarrassed to have to tell him that I was not prepared because you had already spoken to you and that you had informed me that the schedule was set. I apologized. I now feel for Pastor Joseph, for it places an extra burden on him, to prepare a sermon in one day.
Yours sincderely,
Bryan

I have you preaching on the 3rd of August. That should give you two weeks to prepare for your sermon. Blessings.
